After Charter Communications acquired Time Warner Cable, there were frequent and long-lasting service outages affecting the Phone2Go app, which may have driven off what loyal users it had.
Spectrum is contacting customers registered for the app by phone to alert them the Phone2Go service would be discontinued on Thursday. This was a very nice feature to use the phone to go app when On road to connect with your family and friends.
I Wish they improved the service, instead, Spectrum stopped it. Very sad and mad customer. Phone3go app was one of the reasons I stayed with Spectrum in spite of their expansive internet charges. When they discontinued this service, I was not informed. I tried to use it many times without success.
Spectrum does whatever benefits them not the customer. Considering the whole package, I am very close to cancelling Spectrum for good. I wish they would bring this back. I used this daily to call American Samoa from my cell phone. Now I have to wait to go home to make these calls. I am no longer a Spectrum customer. Phone2Go was a great feature. I do not believe the stated reason lack of usage as the reason for dropping it.
